Finally, we found the first toad of spring! Hiding under our pile of unused bluestone rocks, likely with an abundance of black widows (yikes)!
She's so cute with toads....every year I wonder if she'll get tired of them, and she never does! LOL!
And here is our homeschool math lesson for earlier in the week: measuring length using different objects. We found Kee to be 6 markers long from head to tail.
And two Isabel quotes that I just LOVED this week and had to share:
"I love holding Daddy, he's my forever guy." 3.28.2012
and
"I'm a God fan, you know that?" 3.27.2012
That girl is just precious!

Farm Days at NCSU 2012
Isabel is nearly 6, Ian is 2 weeks shy of one year old in these pics.
Little lambs, a couple of weeks old....(Isabel's favorite!)
Chick!
Wait, is that a REAL pig?

Fish fun!
Our goldfish's tank was overdue for a cleaning, so we put him in a bowl and Isabel and Ian kept an eye (and a finger) on him while I washed the tank.
They thought this was great fun.
The goldfish was happy to return to his tank.
"No, you may not scoop him out with the ladle."

Isabel, my Isabel!
There have been a lack of pictures of you, my dear. So to remedy that, here is a post all about Isabel!
Iz has been doing just wonderfully in school this year. She is reading and it's been such a joy to watch her blossom in this part of her schooling. In our co-op she has been dissecting a pig, as well as participating in a public speaking class. Wow....and this is only kindergarten! It's been lots of fun letting her participate in these classes, even if some of it is a bit above her level, the teachers do a really good job of including information that she can understand and use too! Here's a poster of the presentation she did on leopard geckos.
Here is Isabel working on even numbers and the hundreds board.
She has been really proud of the clearance flowers we bought for her at Lowe's and how she has brought them back to life!
We had a park playdate with some homeschooling friends this week. Isabel is getting really good at the monkey bars!
And a St. Patrick's Day craft we made with real clover....sort of sun-catcher type of craft ;)
Isabel is still very much into drawing and doing crafts, so anything that has to do with those two subjects will get her attention and keep her focused!

Go to Sleep Part One.
Second video, just like the first....except it was so cute, Rob rebuked me for not putting this one up too.
